At XJT, we already got management throwing out the fear grenade with loss of airframes. They could tell us that we will get a 100 aircraft with the new TA and my vote will still be NO.
I'm sorry I quoted the wrong person

There is no more AMR. It's AAG, or just American Airlines Management.

You could not be more wrong. I fly a prop now dude. Nothing to do with SJS. Shiny upgrade syndrome? Ya ok I'll take that. I do want the fastest path to the left seat. Who doesn't. If it is wrong to want to double my current paycheck and log valuable PIC time then so be it. I dont work there and didn't vote on this contract. It passed. If eagle was doubling their fleet I would want to work there. I have several friends at eagle. Being happy for a pilot group getting more flying hence upgrades hence more money in their pockets is not SJS. SJS would be, "I didn't wanna work there because of the 200's but now they have 900's I'm in!!" And that's not what I'm saying at all.

Why do I bother. It's APC. "How disgusting are you?" Really? Wow.

Like someone else mentioned, AMR NO LONGER EXIST. Its AAG since 12/09/13.

Get with the program.

Haha your congratulating a pilot group that undercut everyone for additional flying. No honor for the "us airways express coalition" or for American eagle who said no. I feel like I live in a crazy world where up is down and down is up. This is nuts.

I had my doubts - but I'm glad to see the airplanes are ACTUALLY slated to come.

I am still doubtful about the fate of the 200s, but I've been wrong before...

If it means anything, the 200s stay the duration of their lease till 2019. Our CEO has been very vocal this morning both in person and through online company communications that the airplanes are GROWTH, plus 40 options (when the 200a go). Hiring 1000 additional personnel wouldn't happen if these weren't growth. People can't argue that.

I know people have disbelieved it in the past and been misled, but it's time for change here. New logo, new look, new everything...things are turning around.
