Unfortunately, I hear that USAirways is dropping money into Mesa to help them out of bankruptcy and in exchange Mesa will take over PSA. Mesa held out for a great scope clause back in 02 and that could bite PSA hard. This is not a joke or a Mesa sucks comment but a legitimate source.

Didn't Mesa just dump a bunch of 50-seater leases in BK? Isn't ~70% of the PSA fleet 50-seaters? Aside from that, I'll call this rumor "plausible."

woah woah if PSAers are complaining about work rules now, I can't wait til MESA management takes over and really treat us like crap lol
Highly doubt MESA would buy PSA but there has been so many M&A lately that one cannot fully rule out the possibility

Does it help to see everything as a independent action each not effecting the next? If you like sitting hot reserve so much why not volunteer for it for a few months, I am sure Pam will let you. If you have such a problem which junior guys complaining about reserve then why don't you log off and not read it.
Second, I'm just agreeing with you two that sitting around all day and getting called for a trip right before you are released has to suck. Out of all the schedulers there, why is it people seem to really dislike Pam the most? I don't get it.

Hey meyers I hope your right about those phone calls this week. As far as the guy who started the other psa thread about hiring...yes they have contacted some of the pilots in the pool asking us if we would like to do a re interview. So hiring is likley in the near future.

Don't get me started about that jacket! That thing is worthless in the winter/weather when the wind is blowing right through the slacks. Frumpy...that's the only appropriate word for that thing.
