Written Exam:

20-What is Definition of V1
Critical engine failure speed or decision speed. Engine failure below this speed shall result in an aborted takeoff; above this speed the take off run should be continued.

Interviewing on March 23rd and I was looking on aviationinterviews.com. It seems the info is from 2008,07,05 hiring era.

Wondering if the interview panel and/or questions may have changed?

We had 8 new hires that started few days ago and 8 upgrade announced few days ago. Might not be a bad move for those that are looking to jump in before the big movement that hopefully will happen. I see bunch of people on this forum debating btw great lakes, commutair, colgan, piedmont... If you live in clt, day, tys or surrounding areas, jump in! Rsv life sucks here as we're so understaffed but seems like management is finally doing something about hiring and upgrading. Dont see any growth in the foreseeable future but with attrition alone, the potential upgrade has got to be faster than Asa, pinnacle, republic, etc... Just my two cent

Attrition is that high at PSA? How many are you losing per year?

Apparently high enough!

Either it was an elaborate April fool's joke or the company really did put a letter in anyone's file who called in sick for more than 7 days last year. I would not put it past PSA to do this to people. A letter in your file means that you are screwed for a job at mainline and April is supposed to be the month that people start moving up. You stay classy PSA!

Letter for 7 sick days or more??? That cannot possibly stick after grievance. Heard of phone calls after 10. Hopefully there's no truth to that but wouldn't surprise me. Our attrition will be high as long as oil doesn't shoot up the roof. A lot of people are brushing up on their resumes and interview skills.

I second the "7 days", it might not stick, but it is in your records and it will create a problem at mainline...

Even though J4J's would get fired from PSA and keep their mainline jobs, always the double/triple standards at LCC group.

Apparently more letters were sent today. Guess they didn't have enough time to deliver them all on the same day, due to the volume and all.

Yes, infact I know of someone who used less than 7 days in a 365 year period, provided a doctors note and still received a letter for "excessive" use of sick time. But this is business as usual here at PSA...
