No pic of course. I'm sure PSA would be happy to see him go.
Good riddance

Eagle has a flow thru? I thought nobody had a flow thru, and the last flow thru before it got cancelled was the guys hired before around Aug. 2011 at Compass had a guaranteed interview with Delta mainline when they met the requirements... no?
Eagle still have 200ish pilots with AA numbers. After that 824 have preferential hiring once they start off street hiring. Once they are done with that, any pilot hired before Oct 11, 2011 it does have preferential hiring at AA. In change of that, AE gave the planes away to AA, meaning we are just a company with pilots without planes.

Seafeye, the list is called the combined eligibility list and is maintained by both of our mec's. It was created and is a contract holdover from the midatlantic days.

Is there any legal recourse for this? Evidently, the company doesn't want them hiring too many pilots from us.
I guess that they hade 3 resignations for guys going to mainline and are expecting a lot in the upcoming months. But I find it hard to believe that if Mainline extends the offer that PSA can call and have it taken away. If someone has hard evidence of this then yes I'm sure they would have a legal case.

^^ This. I can't imagine PSA calling mainline regarding FOs who have been given a conditional offer with the intent to have mainline rescind the offer. Perhaps someone can elaborate on what benefit or advantage there is to PSA?? And I hope there is some legal recourse if this is remotely true.

For every PSA/PDT pilot that mainline hires a total of 3 US Airways family pilots need to be trained:
1. Former PSA/PDT pilot trained at mainline.
2. Former PSA/PDT F/O trained to replace pilot #1 above.
3. New hire PSA/PDT pilot trained as FO to replace pilot #2 (above).

However if you hire non PSA/PDT pilot Airways only has to train 1 pilot, which is much cheaper.

Except:
10 year PSA pilot $100,000/year
4th year PSA f/o $40,000/year
1st year Mainline f/o $35,000

Total $175,000

Now if all we put in new positions...
5th year new PSA Captain $70,000
1st year PSA f/o $25,000
1st year Mainline f/o $35,000

Total $130,000

Plenty of money there for training 3 people. Not to mention movement is healthy.

They interviewed 15 of our pilots 2 weeks ago, I don't think Tempe cares at all about potential retraining costs.
