Just finished my interview today and passed all three portions of the interview. I really enjoyed the process and was told to expect a call on monday. I was told I would be placed in a pool to await a class. I was just wondering if anyone could let me know when was the last class, how many were in it, when they are planning the next class, and how deep the hiring pool is.

So 50% eagle, 25% PDT, and possibly 25% psa. Im not a mathematician or anything but thats 100% class make up of wholly owned pilots. I dont see them going for anything like that.

The Eagles is a done deal it seems..... After the 200+ with numbers the next 800 go at a 50%.... Then the others hired prior to Oct 2011 at 35%........

We'll see what PDT and PSA had given to them......

Yes I understand that the eagle deal is done. Its hard to imagine that the new aa will allow themselves to go forward being limited to only eg, psa, PDT for new hires.

Eh have to see the wording...... Plus the new AA, unless able to sell, have three regionals they need to attract pilots too as well...... What a better carrot for a college flight student......

That I can buy.......we do currently have recruiters going to universities, and a flow would really help their cause. I guess its just what makes more sense; hire all the high time guys currently on the street (comair, pncl soon, world, dhl, NJ), or take wo pilots and hope to back fill through college recruitment.
