what is the upgrade at PSA, if we merged now we are about late 06/early 07 at Eagle. Over 1/3 of the FOs are hired in last 18 months. PSA will get screwed because they have 70 seat jets and we have some 70 and tons of 50 seaters. Merge it up, then cut the 50 seat jets.

Eh? AE hired almost 900 of their 3200ish pilots 2008 and after.... PSA is 1/6 the size and DOH, in this crazy crazy crazy, hypothetical would benefit most PSA Jr Captains..... We have 500 pilots and some near the 300 seniority are holding captain...

Wasnt AE getting close to 2007 hires upgrading? Obviously prior to this music stopping?

Im an 2007 hire at psa and barely 375/500? Seems like relative seniority only works for very few if this crazy hypothetical were to occur.... Also I thought ALPA Merger policy was supportive of DOH?

DOH would be a disaster for junior FOs at PSA.

maybe the most junior, since we hired almost 700 at Eagle in 2011! With about 300 in 2010. Almost the bottom 1/3 of Eagle was hired in 2010/2011.

Maybe so, but the majority of captains at Eagle would be senior to a majority of PSA captains with DOH list. Over half the captains at PSA would be knocked back to FO. Relative is the one and only fair way. No one gains, no one loses.

It would be relative seniority DOH won't happen, it's the only fair way for everyone I didn't understand it until it was explained to me recently by PDT and PSA merger reps... However if Eagle is planning on dumping the 50 seaters and furloughing it should happen before any integration.
