Beats being looked upon with scorn from fellow pilots. PSA, is a disgrace, and I'd rather go to a place that doesn't have have pay caps or the possibility of being stuck at a payrate after unsuccessfully interviewing at AA.

Heck yea I agree with you. A place being scorn for being a bottom feeder, so go to a place paying less, but not a bottom feeder.

Wait wait, your going to make less at xjt over psa. Hahahahhahahaha you quoting one part of training pay, you are missing the boat loads more you will make over five years between the two, xjt winning. Plus you won't be considered the bottom and worst by your coworkers.

Welcome KMac6063, I am curious about your class date, Jul 21. Did they offer an earlier date. I understood classes were every 2 weeks.
Anyway I agree, enjoy time with family & just plan to study hard for several weeks when starting.

Yes "boat loads" is such an exact number. Who needs a simple calculator+pay rates+contractual language to determine ones income. Just some dude online saying you'll make "boatloads" more is sufficient. Btw, any time I tried to bring up contract comparisons on here, everyone wanted no part of it.

I'd have to agree with this post. It's like before going to prison. Just enjoy your last days before turning yourself in.

Got to XJT and you can buy Hamms instead of Colt 45, and the deluxe instead of the basic ramen noodles.
