As you all know, APC has a very specific definition of scab, and would rather not have the word diluted by having it used in an inappropriate manner. Let me point out that its use so far in this thread is an inappropriate manner.

Most people are awarded CLT before you finished training. You may end up doing a couple weeks to a month in another base before the effective date of the award depending on the timing of it.
Honestly Reserve sucks, but reserve is short just a few months.

I was based knoxville for a month out of training before being awarded charlotte. Was able to sit reserve in charlotte while based in knoxville. Just request it, most likely will be approved.

Short call is 2 hour call out in CLT and DAY (I think it's 1 hour in Tys but they have no hot reserve)
Hot reserve or ready reserve or airport reserve is you have to be at the airport. It can be assigned 8 times a month and it's only 8 hours long.
