Well, go ahead and do that where you work. Right now they're paying not to fly.

I've been out of flying for a few years and was thinking about getting back into it with PSA. I was going to get the ATP Written out of the way and then apply. Just found out that I need an ATP CTP (30 hrs. classroom, 4 hrs. FBTD and 6 hrs. in a sim) endorsement before I can take the written. Anyway around that? I was planning on being out $150 before I applied at PSA, not $5K. WTH!?!

The company is working on incorporating the CTP into their training program, but I don't know that there's a timeframe for that.

I think both PDT and PSA are working on programs for this but they aren't yet complete

Within the next few months, I think all of the regionals will have a CTP program set up. I know that PSA applied for the program and it is awaiting approval from the FAA. Hopefully it will be up and running soon at PSA and several other airlines.

Sounds good, but what am I supposed to do in the meantime? Is the ATP written a definite requirement to apply? Thanks for the help guys. Just trying to work things out.
