My neighbors, yes both of them ironically, flew for Piedmont and were Captains on the 737s sometime in the mid 70s or 80s I believe... How's that stuff for "Piedmont history" haha. Just thought of them when you mentioned it. They absolutely loved the company by the way before it was bought. What's left to my knowledge is pretty much not "Piedmont" and especially if you asked them. One of them retired last February from US Air as check captain.

Your neighbors flew for piedmont the major airline not the crappy regional. 2 different worlds. hope you know they are 2 completely different airlines?

That was the "real" Piedmont, not the new sell-out version thereof... Have several friends that worked there, whole different ball game!

Any PSA TYS pilots know who is the "go-to" AME in the TYS area? I need to renew, and I'm not originally from the TYS area....

Do you work at piedmont? Not sure how you would know if its "crappy", dont believe everything you read on the internet.
