Its low right now but is going to start to backup significantly as FOs who were bypassed either by choice, or not being qualified, start to upgrade.

As pagey said, low. Current Jr Awards in both TYS and CLT are March '14 hires.

That said, there seems to be a bit of a backlog in the training department. Seems like September and October '14 hires may have a LONG wait for IOE.

Hopefully they're making some more Checkairmen as well.

Does monthly guarantee pay starts at the beginning of training or completion of IOE?

Date of Hire. Basically, a lot of new guys seem to be getting 4-8 weeks of paid vacation.

I think the upgrade time will stabilize at around 12-18 months for most of the next year, but I think the sub-12 month upgrade ship has sailed for anyone hired today, even with prior 121.

The big factor will be if/when they announce a new base and how senior/junior it goes. Right now we have a lot of people staying in the right seat until they can hold CLT because they either live there or are commuters. If we opened another commutable base, you would see quite a few of the hold-outs putting in a Captain bid. Also if the SSP rate gets increased this year (big if) that would also change the numbers.

There may be some west flying however it is unlikely there will be any west domiciles. It is almost assured there will be a fourth pilot domicile in 2015 but it has not been announced. Most think it will be chicago.
When I asked about new flying/bases back in March 14'(before envoy 700 anouncments) I was told PSA will remain a east coast airline. But they consider DFW to be east coast. (I don't think DFW is in the realm of reality but that's the answer I got.)
