3) 113 have left since last October.
4) currently upgrading 22 per month but this is expected to increase soon
5) an FO hired Oct 2013 is scheduled to upgrade in Dec. Upgrade times for the new guys should be dropping to 13 months soon, assuming they have the 1,000 hours required for 121 PIC per 121.436(a)(3).

Hotels.com gives it a 3.8/5. It's not the nicest hotel ever, true, but it's within walking distance of lots of restaurants and shopping which is good for those that don't drive to training, it's single occupancy rooms that are clean and come with fridge, microwave & wifi, and the company pays for them.

Since the announcement about American moving the 700's to PSA, HR is now receiving 15 resumes a day. If you are already current and qualified on an RJ at another airline, only a phone interview is conducted. So, no, they're not having problems filling classes.

The training curriculum hasn't been changed to get guys through faster...still 6 weeks of ground, 2 weeks of sims, and 35 (planned) hours of IOE. The breaks between each training section is the only variable in how long it is between day one and IOE completion. The training dept is working on increasing the number they can train per class, but the length of training will remain the same.
