I got it, the question is, are they any pilots recieving a captain paycheck without having a coresponding award. A line FO would still be receiving an FO paycheck. Having the award in hand is how seniority is respected so paying a new hire captain pay prior to that new hire reviving an award is by definition out of seniority. Labeling them all sim instructors is fraud if they're not trained to operate and actually operating the sim.

I'm sure they receive FO pay until completing their PC

Right, but do they require them to also have the award. If Tallflyer is receiving an FO paycheck and a DEC is receiving a captain paycheck for completing the PC, but does not have the award than Tallflyer has been bypassed in pay.

I said eligible FO not every FO?

I would be ****ed if I was waiting for a vacancy to upgrade as an eligible FO and a DEC was hired without a vacancy and recieving captain pay waiting for his next training event.

I would be ****ed if an undercutting pilot group screwed over the entire industry and then whining about how they aren't upgrading as quickly as advertised. Oh wait, that's happening!! GFY

Just let him vent, their flow has him trapped; it's like being married to a fat, ugly, rich girl. 4 out of 5 airlines with >3k pilots have been shrinking for the last 3 years.
Endeavor hates Delta and Bloch
XJT hates SKW
ASA hate XJT
RAH hates BB
AE hates PSA

An airline can't shrink without hating someone.
