I think the other guy was referring to direct entry captains rather than Dec new hires.
I don't think you'd see DEC's holding clt for a long time. I'm sure when vacancies come out, senior CA's will transfer to clt, FO's will upgrade. Especially now since we are about to have the "big wave" of 2014 start getting their 1000 hours and eligible to upgrade. They'll have 20-30+/month eligible to upgrade start very soon indefinitely.

It appears to be 2500 total, 500 turbine, 1000 sic 121 or 500 pic 121. Then meet the requirements of 121.436 as well.
Junior bases are both Dayton and Knoxville. However in about 6-12 months you should be able to hold Charlotte as it is the larger base. Our November hires are now starting to hold CLT as Captain.

So I'm assuming the upgrade time at PSA is FAA mins for the left seat?

Looking for an update over the last three weeks:
Has any pilot been hired by PSA after an interview date of May 11th? If so, was it a street captain? Not if anybody has interviewed since then, but actually been hired. There seems to be a lull in any hiring.
Thanks!

No new hire FO classes until July or August is the latest, it will be street captains only until then.

You forgot to mention PSA has NO flow-through agreement. All they have is a bs guarantee AA interview at a rate of 4/month which will take about...hmm.. +20 years.
(1200active/4/mnth). Now imagine you screw up the interview and get rejected the POSITION at AA after +20 years of waiting!?
If I was a new hire I'd choose a REGIONAL with a Actual Guarantee Flow-Through agreement (NO interview required) to AA. Envoy (gets 50% of all AA classes, 30/month) or Piedmont (3 per month). Think ahead & be ahead of the curve.
Good luck to you all !
