Let's follow the logic that RyanP is trying to drop on us. He'd have us believe that a good number of envoy new hires that are failing their oral or type ride are simply moving on to PSA or Mesa, ........the very next day, (which of course is preposterous, given the fact that it'll take weeks from the date of application to the date of interview, alone).
What that tells me is that ENVOY is an airline with low hiring standards! Following Ryan's logic, envoy is really scraping the bottom of the barrel and hiring pilots who are not able to pass their initial 121 training.

We don't know if they are going to pass training and be able to deal with stress. The big difference is we don't hire people with initial 121 check ride failures at other regionals or more than 2 failures of any kind, including primary training. That is a huge red flag which others seem to ignore..

I don't know when they actually applied to PSA or Mesa. Don't really care either. Most people have out many other apps, or interviewed at a few places when they are hired. The exact time frame is irrelevant. You can have them. I just know they are getting class date offers pretty much right away when they call back after struggling here. They tell us they are going to these places.

I'll add to this...good friend did the All ATP training...failed Inst twice, and his multi comm ride...Envoy pilot on the CRJ a few years now. Even the great Envoy hires folks with training failures...you will have to now to replace all that 6 year zero-to-hero flowage.

You come on here, spew PSA hate, and try to mislead potential new hires with ridiculous assertions and then, when called-out, you quickly redirect the conversation and assert that the misinformation YOU presented is "irrelevant".
You wrote: "They (PSA) have no hiring standards. They hire people who literally busted initial 121 checkrides at other carriers the day before." And when confronted with the fact that it is virtually impossible for a pilot fail a checkride one day and get hired by another airline the very next day, you try to tell us that the "exact time frame is irrelevant".
You were very specific in your lie; that you had personal knowledge pilots who "literally" failed a checkride and were then hired by PSA and/or Mesa the very next day. Now that you've been called-out you want us to believe that the "exact time frame is irrelevant".
You're not only a liar, but you're a p1ss-poor liar. You're letting your rage for all-things-PSA to get the best of you.

Junior bases are both Dayton and Knoxville. However in about 6-12 months you should be able to hold Charlotte as it is the larger base. Our November hires are now starting to hold CLT as Captain.
