200 is like 1/3rd of your FO's right?; so 1/3rd of your FO's are refusing to upgrade. That's correct??

Honestly it's probably a good thing. They are too inexperienced to even know how inexperienced they are at these upgrade mills. Better they wait it out before they inevitably kill a bunch of passengers that are clueless to what is really going on.

There are zero flying the line. There has only been one DEC class so far. Class of 10, one of which being a sim instructor. So 9 line pilot DECs.

Save me the enlighten us crap. You spew so much crap on this website and make PSA pilots look bad. Most of the time you have no idea what you're talking about.

Everyone relax, it is what it is. For whatever reason guys do or don't want to upgrade. If PSA needs DIC then guys/gals will apply. Sounds like with all the new RJ's coming PSA needs FO's and DIC and CA's! Hope it works out for all involved.

Exactly my point. It's undheard of to have 1/3rd of your pilots declining upgrade. A few dozen, sure... but 1/3rd is huge.

No one else has a SAP comparable to PSA's

Que? We're actually fat on FOs right now. The aircraft orders need to catch up to staffing. And we are steadily upgrading pilots to CA while hiring a couple of DECs here and there. No reason for AAG to send the planes somewhere else.

A class of 8 (maybe 10, I forget exactly) DECs started yesterday.

The normal upgrade class that starts next week of 10 looks to be about half guys around the 18 month seniority and the other half with previous experience..about 6 months seniority and less
