I was told by someone "in the know" (take that with the grain of salt you should) that ORD will still happen, but not until 2018 and only if we can continue to grow beyond 150 airplanes. DCA is the priority to take up the slack from Air Wisconsin's flying.

Ok thanks I'll take it with a grain of salt.

So how does a new guy use this information to pick which base they want to be at. My goals would be to fly as much as possible at any base until I can hold a line in CLT if I'm not already in CLT.
I take it R1 is Round 1 line holder and that means that the date on the graphic = the lowest seniority to hold that position ?
I have no idea what Bu is, I'm guessing LCR and SCR are long call and short call reserve. Again, I'm assuming these are the lowest seniority to hold this position ?

BU is a build up line. Considered a round 2 and can include a whole month of trips or a mix of trips and short call reserve.
SCR is short call (2 hour call out in all bases expect 1 hour in TYS). LCR is 12 hour calling regardless.

Right now, going to DAY or CVG looks like the fastest way to a R1 line, but if your commute to CLT is easy I'd just go there. When DCA opens in March it's going to shake things up a lot.
