You're right. I've tried to elaborate, but the unrealistic statements and expectations given in this thread pretty much leave me speechless. You gotta wonder if we're all on the same planet sometimes.

Ok, some of you need to read flying the line! Pm me and Ill get you a copy. I get so tired of guys defending their low pay. Come on!!!!!! We should all be pushing for more and expecting more! We are not here to break the company just get some of the profits. Skyw just announced a 5 million share buy back, and then they put first year fo's on food stamps to fly a 22 million dollar aircraft. You all should be outraged! Wtf is going on?

Just to clarify, I don't plan to stop my financial expectations at 50k. Besides the fact that I love flying, I got into the industry due to the nice wages. Unfortunately I didn't know the aspects of the industry before joining into aviation. I don't plan to change my choice, unless forced to (medical, etc).
But you make some valid points. I'm still young, and new to the industry, so I don't really have any experience on just how much making 50k, 100k, 150k is.

Unfortunately there was no house to divide up between them. Nope, we rented apartments, and she still rents.
