You're right. I've tried to elaborate, but the unrealistic statements and expectations given in this thread pretty much leave me speechless. You gotta wonder if we're all on the same planet sometimes.

We are not here to break the company just get some of the profits. Skyw just announced a 5 million share buy back, and then they put first year fo's on food stamps to fly a 22 million dollar aircraft. You all should be outraged! Wtf is going on?

Unfortunately there was no house to divide up between them. Nope, we rented apartments, and she still rents.

Just to clarify, I don't plan to stop my financial expectations at 50k. Besides the fact that I love flying, I got into the industry due to the nice wages. Unfortunately I didn't know the aspects of the industry before joining into aviation. I don't plan to change my choice, unless forced to (medical, etc).

But you make some valid points. I'm still young, and new to the industry, so I don't really have any experience on just how much making 50k, 100k, 150k is.

Maim, read my post again, and dig up skyw financials. A 5 million share stock buy back at 26 dollars a share is no small chunk of change. I would say they could afford to pay more than 19k a year. Now go do some research and let me know what you think.

No cars over 200k, what world do you live in? Comeonnnnnnnnn….
