I feign outrage at this as well.

The FA is literally on his knees in the entrance to the cockpit just holding the observers mask to his face hyperventilating as the CA saunters back up the the cockpit

Good lord that’s amazing. I’m dying laughing over this one

I heard one (maybe here!) where the FA asked the new hire how long their training was and when the FA got the answer they said "You mean for 3 more weeks I could have been a pilot?".

Unfortunately it is more common then you think. And it is always the real young ones. You know, the ones that are just like the face always in the phone young VSCO passengers who think you are just their glorified Uber driver

Yes! I think every airline has had at least one. Best response to this if you want to make a friend is say “you know why I get paid what I do, and you get paid your rate?” “no!” “Because everyone knows how to open a can of coke” Use at own risk.

Now, I fly w quite a few who are becoming pilots. When I inquire about where they are in training and tell them what’s likely to happen they give me the nasty stink eye. most believe they will be able to skip regional flying all together since they are working for a mainline as a FA😂.

With Delta's programs, they do have better career progression than you.
