All the info is available in each regional’s sub forum. OP is just being lazy. It’s the equivalent of asking your instructor a question clearly addressed in the manuals because you can’t be bothered to use the search function on your iPad.

Don’t take this the wrong way, it’s great PSA is not paying the crap it was. That is a wonderful thing. But don’t let anyone pull the wool over your eyes and let you think it’s competitive with 9E. Keep pushing for a better contract.

I read your post. You verify the sincerity of the pilot recruiters by research. No one is going to compile all this stuff for you, you have to put in the legwork on your own. You’re committing the next 3-45 years of your life to this airline, are you really going to go with one over the other because a recruiter (whose job it is to staff an airline that can’t attract enough applicants to staff properly) gave you the warm fuzzies? All the info you need to make a solid decision is available publicly, either in these forums or on the airline profiles page. Trust the facts over the sincerity of a recruiter.

I didn’t “demean” them, I’m pointing out a poor study/research habit that will cause a lot of pain in this career. I was a little curt maybe, because I’m tired of running into unhappy pilots who didn’t do their research and ended up someplace incompatible with their life. I also didn’t say they were lazy, I said they were being lazy. OP may be the hardest working person on the planet for all I know, but asking easily found questions instead of taking the time to click a few threads and read is a lazy action. If I didn’t care I wouldn’t have taken the time to respond at all.

What is also part of the regional industry is a high percentage of 20 somethings running around pumped full of testosterone and acting like some kind of JR high school look-at-me bully. You aren’t being helpful by telling someone their question is stupid, or telling them that they aren’t cut out for the industry because they asked a question.
The reality of this profession is that anyone of average intelligence can do this job. There is no system in place to reward you for your superior pilot skills. There is a system in place to try and weed out A holes though. You can go much farther in this industry by going out of your way to be polite than you ever can with Chuck Yeager piloting ability. Just trying to help you out and offer some advice that will help you in your career.
Sometimes I see a thread that has been covered and I’m not interested so I move on. Sometimes I skim through and learn something new. This is even more true when someone is asking for opinions, which the OP did. Perceptions change in this industry almost daily. Just cut the guy some slack.
