Mesaba is apparently not interested in posting a vacancy for this class until the flow-through LOA is signed. Anyone who is awarded an upgrade prior to the LOA being signed is not locked from the flow. However, after the LOA is signed, anyone who is awarded an upgrade is locked from flowing to NWA for 12 months.

As of today, the LOA has not been signed (to my knowledge).

They want me to start on the 14th for a SF3 st. capt spot...looking to wait until the 28th. Have questions to make an informed decision...

-Commuting from west coast to most likely DTW, 2 leg commute through MSP, how long until i can even hope for MSP?
-36 month a/c lock, CAN they override that? Would like to see a CRJ sometime during my stay there, getting sick of the Tprops
-Is it easy to drop trips/legs/RSV or is everything "denied due to staffing"? (what can I say, i flew for Eagle and we couldnt get a leg dropped for a death in the family let alone any other life events...)

Im sure I will have more...all i can think of right now

evh347 I also do not have 25 posts and would appreciate a copy of the 200 oral guide. If you would email it to me at [email protected] I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks you so much in advance!

Default msp hotel?

Anyone know any hotels around the MSP airport that gives Mesaba pilots a significant discount (around $30-$50 a night)? I'm looking for a hotel to grab a night in during my commute if I have to. I tried the corporate discounts on mymesaba.com, but no bueno.

Default Thanks for the Info!

This site is awsome! The information on this site is unbelievable and the willingness to share info even better. As a new hire Mesaba pilot this thread has been a valuable resource. Thanks again evh347 and I too think you should start selling that guide
