If you commute, can you stay in your home town?

You have to call scheduling the day before your trip would normally start and it has to be before noon. They will tell you if you have any trip scheduled, if not, then they have to give you 24 hours notice prior to any assignment.

After your inital contact of them before noon the day before your trip that was pulled would have started, yes they can call you any time day or night, but they have to call at least 24 hours before your showtime for the trip they are assigning. So yes you could be almost anywhere when they call as long as you can get to base within 24 hours.

I noticed one sitting on the corporate ramp in DTW this morning....still painted in old NWA livery. Anyone know the story there?

It's 504XJ being repositioned from Marana AZ (long term storage) to Europe. There have been a few sent over that have stopped in DTW. Also seen old Air Wisconsin 146's do the same thing. Should be in Iceland or beyond by the end of the day.

It's scheduled out at 11am today, to Goose Bay.
If you want to buy one there's 3 left.

I'm curious if anyone has any advice or first hand experience at the crowne plaza in DEN. Grocery stores, stuff to do during the course of 23 romantic nights and 24 fun filled days at CAE.

Yes, walk to Uno Chicago's for happy hour 4-7 weekdays and all day sunday (2 for 1 all beer and wine + cheap food) And say hi to Erin and Shannon there too. It's next door to the old hotel, Country Inn/Suites which is next door to CAE.

Yes the van will take you about a block up the street to the grocery store. They shun going to walmart but you can talk them into it. There is a pool and a mesaba only break room with coffee and donuts in the morning right behind the foutain. The hotel manger was working on cars we could rent for cheap on our days off..........don't know the status of that though.

Just a question. Are you guys still hiring or no? I went on the mesaba site to update my resume, and everytime I tried to do so it would not allow me to resubmit it or change anything on the app. It just seemed a little fishy, I had never had any problems updating before, and now with contradicting info on APC vs. the Mesaba site I am confused. Thanks in advance (sorry its not a new hire question but, I don't feel like starting a new thread.)
