Here's what I've heard 'bout that...
The SW planes were at Comair, then went to SKW during the Comair strike in 2001. SKW had enough cash (or class) to change the N#. They returned to Comair in 2005 as "growth" in order to invoke the pay freeze, but Comair had neither the cash or class to change the N#s back to CA.
The BR CRJs were ACA's and came to DCI after IndependenceAir closed doors.

It went like this, Comair got 10 ASA planes, then later sent them to SkyWest. SkyWest sent 10 of their beater 100s to Comair, and got the ex-ASA 200s.
ASA got the ex-Indy Air planes, all of which have been re-registered to EV tail numbers.
It was a weird deal, and the only reason it happened is because Comair couldn't get the Independence Air jets configured in time to invoke the pay freeze. But at least they got exactly what they wanted, right?

Haha.....funny thing is, word on the street is that we are using your sims to train our crews to fly your airplanes.

Thank you for saying that. Maybe he'll go away. Not sure how this thread brought out a few of these weird "ASA" pilots (at least 3 all of a sudden). What's the deal? Why do you guys feel the need to rub this in XJ's face? Don't answer that...it's hypothetical. Just stop.
Once again, we should use the Ignore feature for these people.

I believe there are about another 35 CRJ900 to be allocated. Don't quote me though. It might be less. Mesaba has a bid in for more aircraft but who knows.
