The underlying retirement dynamics haven’t changed and the airlines have seen how fast demand rebounds. Nobody wants to be caught without pilots next summer even if there’s a delta dip
As for when winter comes. Yes, it will come again but it that doesn’t make this offer a good deal

According to our MEC-
Does that mean PSA and Envoy are getting no raises? Some raises? Isn’t PDT just about the lowest paid at this point?
- Piedmont captains and first officers will see a pay increase, effective Nov. 1, 2021, that brings Piedmont’s pay in line with the other wholly-owned carriers

They’ve got to be getting one.
No way will they pay PDT 76 seat rates to fly a 50 seater and then not give PSA/ENY nothing extra to fly an actual 76 seater.

Agree, it would be odd for them to do so. Perhaps we all get 76 rates + a lil sumthin sumthin? Guess we'll just to wait and see.

Keep in mind even if you do leave an AA WO for another carrier after you upgrade you're still going to make 80k in bonuses just be being there the normal amount of time.
I could be wrong there could be more stipulations on the 25k a year hourly goal bonus for 2 years..and the 30k automatic bonus once you upgrade to CA. But by what it reads on paper..you fly 2 years an an FO upgrade to CA then put in an app at year 3 to another airline you still qualify for 80k in bonuses. Isn't that what most regional pilots do anyway? Upgrade get some tpic and leave?
Just by that logic this makes the AA wo the place to go....OO yx 9E have nothing to compete with this

They can write checks if they need to. Their major partners would likely even pay for it, rather than deal with the fallout of subcontractors who can't staff or fail financially.

I figured there was more to it. Is that 36 months after being hired or after upgrading?
