I think you will lose a lot of applicants that way. Now, I have been offered employment elsewhere. I know several people who have had the same experience.

My suggestion, stop using AirlineApps and develope your own online application system.
This is troublesome, I have heard of many applicants who have been passed over because of incorrect info on airlineapps, and/or being passed over when they approach our recruiting booth at the career fairs. Recently (past 2 months) they have hired some pilots to work in the recruitment dept to go to career fairs and do the face-to-face talking. Hopefully that clears up some of the problems.

Will 400 and 150 get you there these days, or is that only with an rj type program from ATP or something similar? Also, alot of buzz out there on combining the senority lists. The info seems to be changing daily. Whats your view on this? Any insight would be much appreciated.

I think you have to be from a jet program of some sort and the mins are 400 and 100 or could be 500. My view on the seniority list is wait and see what happens. I am along for the ride right now. Out of all this I would appreciate a pay raise more than anything. $30hr would be great. Like I said though I'll just wait and see. I'll admit I am little excited as to what might happen. The thought of being merge into one list and being able to bid up to bigger equipment is pretty good. Also, the thought of being able to stay at one company and never having to interview again is great. Assuming I don't get furlough of course. Still doubt anything will happen and if it does it would still be a long time before I am sitting in the right seat of the 757. But hey, 757 here I come

First off, it never hurts to push your application through and give it a shot, PM me if you want a referral. Secondly, I do NOT have any inside info on how/if/when or any specifics on integrations with AA or other opportunities, BUT that being said... AE needs to attract newhires, and we cant offer 2yr upgrades right now. We can offer career advancement opportunities to AA if something can be negotiated by all 4 parties (AA, AE, APA, ALPA). ALPA and APA have apparently come up with some sort of agreement and are presenting this to the company (AE and AA) on Sept 18. We will hear within the next month or two the results. I doubt there will be any sort of straight integration, but I would expect some sort of guaranteed AA seniority # after a certain period of time at AE such as after 3 years you automatically get a # at AA if you want to bid for better equip and payscales or some sort of exclusive hiring from AE when AA starts to hire again. Again, I stress this is pure speculation and rumor, so take it with a grain of salt. Good luck to all!

We will know something in the next 30 days. ALPA and APA have asked the abitrator in the recall in senority order grievance to delay his decision for 30 days while the agreement is discussed with management. Neither union has any desire to delay the decision any longer than that.
