Looks like Mesa will once again slip by. Seeing that Comair's business plan is based on mesa going under, this will just drag it on longer.

 

Forget about Mesa. It's been beat to death! We'll just have to see where things stand after their two big payments are due, and what the outcome brings from Delta's appeal of the injunction, ERJ contract hearing, and the Aloha trial.

 

any word on the MEC meeting yesterday? are you guys going to see some new leadership in there? if its going to happen...it needs to happen right away. you guys need someone that will work with the new ceo and set a good tone of communication for years to come. the current MEC has done nothing but bicker over petty things from what i have seen and heard. the pilot/mec group are really split and that isn't good when you have a new ceo coming in that was involved with the nwa union split. i read the copy of the letter sent by cpt. ford and its a good one. the compass guys are saying very positive things about "the bend" so keep that in mind and ask the union to work with them. i say new leadership is needed. the guys in there are to locked in on little things. they need to focus on the big picture. comair has shrunk in half while other regionals have doubled in size. although pay is important so is quality of life and future employment.
