When a CEO does this it makes me work less and less hard for this company. I will absolutely work as hard as I am required to, but when scheduling asks me to work up to 15 1/2 hrs my answer is a firm no (unless it benefits me specifically). It still kills me, that this company feels it needs to slash jobs and have no furlough mitigation; yet the company expects us to work harder and harder. I for one am sick of trying to help the company.

I can guarantee that I will not run to another aircraft, go over 14 1/2, or do anything else for this company unless it benefits me or a member of our crew.

I think it is very noble of the CEO of JAL to do this, something you will never see in the States. I stopped doing favors for Comair a long time ago.
