True that, but the back up plan and with all sectors of industry hurting right now, it may not be feasible. Now here is an idea I'm exploring.

Foster Parenting. It pays you over 1000.00 per mo per child. Just a thought.

What's the worst that could happen?

The new Delta/NW only has a total of 12,526 pilots on the list according to APC. If they furlough 10% and they flow down into Comair seats since we were the last DCI wholly owned to agree to a flow through, they will only take the top 1252 seats. That's how it'll work - right? Judging by the way we've been treated thus far, that's what I'd expect.

12 years from now I could be at mainline though.

I think I'll learn how to weld.

Mesaba came out of BK 18 months ago with 49 Saabs. Now they're at 49 Saabs, 17 CRJ200s, and 36 CRJ900s, with 12 Freedom 900s and one Comair 900 on the way, plus options on 36 more 900s.

I say bring on the Saabs.

Try raising a bunch of them on Comair FO 5th year pay.

Well, make that 4th year pay, since we gave them a year of pay in return for the unprecedented growth we've seen since 2005.

I don't believe there is a flow back with Comair anymore. Now if NEW A/C went to Comair while DAL mainline pilots were furloughed, THEN those NEW A/C would have to be staffed with those furlouged mainline pilots.

So you assign "new" 900's to Mesaba and move "old" 900's from Mesaba to Comair...problem solved.

There never was a flow back at Comair, however there is lots of talk about the new holding company getting Comair to sign a flow through/flow back agreement. That is if Comair is even part of that plan.

My post was totally sarcastic. Comair has never had a flow through agreement with anyone. Our MEC has always opposed it.
