I moved up quite a bit as well. Unfortunately, I thought I'd have more people underneath me by now!

I moved up from 1405 to 1231, but there's only 1,476 pilots on the list now. Now the most junior captain is seniority 858. If I continue to move up 200 numbers a year, that will be a 3 year upgrade for me. Hey, we can all have hopes right?

Don't you love it when you go up 150 numbers but the bottom comes up 200... You hope you can get to the "top half" before the bottom catches up with you!

The seniority number I held in July-December now belongs to a guy that hired 2 1/2 years after me.

My new number? It used to be a guy that hired a year before me.

Well, I only moved up 65 numbers. Thought it would be a few more but oh well.

Is Comair still sticking to their posted 600ttl? Reason I asked, they invited me to an open house in Dec, but I only had 300ttl, so I didn't go.......I do plan on seeing them in DFW at the Air Inc Career Fair......if this is in fact the case!

I ran into a captain that works in recruitment a while back and he informed me that they were in fact sticking to the 600TT. I guess too many people in training were having trouble getting off IOE (80hrs or so needed), so they try to be pretty firm on that number. With that said, if it's convenient for you, I would still go to the job fair(s), as they are a great way for you to get to know people at different airlines and vice versa. Best of luck with everything. Comair isn't as bad as some people make it out to be. Like any place, it's what YOU make of it.

JRMYL,
What is your seniority number? If you only moved up 65 you must be in the 13-1400's?

I went from number 588 to 523.

Can you figure out who I am now?
