From all the talks and e-mails I've had with him, he's a pretty straight shooter; no sugar coating the truth. Not like the Vage and all his "everything will be fine....do not look at the man behind the curtain!"

Bring it! I'm ready to walk right now, let alone entertain a pay-cut.

Close it up, shut off the lights, put it to sleep...no concessions.

what a surprise he said "expect more furloughs". Atleast Bendo is being honest. I'm regretting leaving my first airline more and more each day ughhhh

BM,

I think you're right. I really don't know what the point is of having a Comair. And what would really happen if Delta anounced that they were going to park every single 50 seater? NOTHING.

listening in on the conference right now. In summary:

recalls and additional furloughs we just have to see the schedule for Delta in the fall, which will becoming out in the next few weeks.

Delta is cutting 10% (mostly international he stated)

Bendo did say he does'nt expect recall in the near future (but things always change)

2500 block hr decrease estimated for the fall.

.......Hang in there a bit longer and keep your fingers crossed the F-bombed isn't dropped for the 4th time.

I believe he specifically said there won't be any recalls

Great question was asked about how you were soooooooo much a part of Delta and that was why we were so important during the BK, but now you just have to face it, because you are Comair and not Delta employees and that is why you don't deserve as good of flight benefits.

Comair officers have the same flight benefits as Delta employees. That should say something in itself. Not every at Comair is created equal and never will be.

Bendo can only tell you what he knows. Probably not much, but he really doesn't need to. There will be almost nothing left of the G.O by the end of the year. He just told everyone that they plan on getting a cheaper product out of the labor groups for doing more work. Good Luck with that..............

I thought the question about how many block hours/ how much attrition it would take to get recalls was a good one, and I wish he wouldn't have gotten side-tracked and forgotten to answer it!
