From what I can tell it doesn't look like the FAA is hiring controllers from the street right now. Andy, I guess when you applied they were, or did you do a CTI course?

Nah i was in PUBNAT8, just went on faajobs.gov and applied sometime in june i think.

This is the first time I have heard PUBNAT. Do you have any idea how often they offer this option? Does the number 8 mean this is the 8th one this year?

Yes, i believe it is the 8th this year..but the PUBNATs seem to be opened and closed completely at random as far as I can tell.

Hey Paok, I am scheduled to take the AT SAT at Holtsville Long Island on the 6th of Nov. I was furloughed on Nov 5th, not expexting a recall anytime soon. Good Luck, Let me know me know how it was? Any good study guide out on the web that you know of? Does any one know of any?
