Default Not quite getting it

Maybe it's the single-malt glasses I'm looking through, ( see my last post...sorry), but it looks like the only eliminated route for Comair is the CVG-HSV. Am I missing something?

Bubba stated we're looking at approx. 85 hulls by 2010, and another poster here estimated 850 pilots needed. Is our crew/aircraft ratio 5/1? Are we "right-sized" currently, or are we looking at another 300+ furloughs?

Slightly related note...I seem to remember rumor that several of Mesa's -900's being kept on Comair's cert. by Delta. Might be ancient info., but that one was floating around last year. Anyone? Anyone?

Does anyone know what happened in RIC in the last few days? Rumor has it a crew was drinking well into 8 hours prior to departure.

Was that a Comair crew?

What happened to the 12 hour rule?

Other airlines might be flying segments that are over 750 miles, and due to the fact that Delta have contractual obligations with non wholly owned carriers, all the cuts will come from Comair and Mesaba.

I'm not sure about what aircraft is on what cert. but Comair ownes all the 900's operated by Comair.

Delta ownes 10 ASA 900's and 8 700's
Delta also ownes 3 Skywest 700's and all the Mesaba 900's.

So what is Delta saying??? (SARCASM)

In that article, they claim Comairs' staffing levels will not change. I'm not a math major but that doesn't add up. RHS? Ya know, its' bad when group leaders are telling people to find another job or have a back up plan.

I thought it was 10:1, I remember last nov SB stating we will be down to 800 pilots on property eventually, whether he had ESP or was in the know from the onset.

i think it sould be something like 10:1. dont know for sure but thats what i've heard. which i think is why flolks have been saying 80-85 A/C = 800-850 pilots.

If the 80 a/c fleet plan is where we're heading then our end fleet totals will be CR2=52, CR7=15, and CR9=13.

The only -900's on our cert are the 13 we currently have.

One thing to note is as of May 2010, Delta can cancel CHQ and S5's contract without cause. Delta has already figured out how much it would cost to assume aircraft leases and/or purchase those aircraft, that are operated by those carriers for DCI; as agreed to in the contract. Now the question is would BB make Delta honor that if the contracts were canceled or would BB keep the aircraft for RAH/YX/F9 flying?
