The only thing firm is that the involuntary furlough list was recently reduced by ONE pilot.

Only cause someone got fired, or outright quit.

I hope you are not posting on this forum to promote this scam. It is your first post after all.
As one of the 300+ (11/5/08), I have only been scammed by Conair, not the other way around. Just curious if anyone else had seen the post, and I figured it was the same thing as well - a marketing ploy by that company.

Never pay a company to search for jobs. Retable companies do not charge to search jobs. Very few companies are hiring now and they have thousands of applications and resumes choose from, why would they pay to advertise jobs?

I guess union furlough mitigation is working, they saved one additional job.

I’m not starting a rumor or anything, but on the Delta forum, there has been takes about stapling ALPA DCI carriers seniority list to the Delta seniority list. The talks are supposedly between DALPA and the DCI “ASA, Comair, Mesaba” MEC. What do you guy’s thing about that?

I personally dont think that would happen... however, if it did I would be curious. What would happen to those of us furloughed from Comair? Would we just be an after thought of the deal and stapled to the bottom? Or would we get our seniority back and force other pilots, who were hired after us from the other carriers, on the street?

Even though I dont think I would ever come back, I think I personally will be on the phone every day with our union members to make sure we dont get Delta'd in the deal. And if we do, they wont see a dime from me ever again.

Here's your DAL seniority#, and here's your furlough notice!

I can't believe all the former military at DAL would approve of having their squadron mates coming on board as a CRJ F/O. Unless, they have a super-seniority clause.

Compass is possible. Maybe even probable.
Comair not likely. Too much baggage.
JC Lawson poisoned the well.

More like a chief pilot quit and saved a junior guy from furlough.
