a curious question. i was trying to non rev and think i got passed by someone who shouldn't have been given a seat before me. I was at the gate and saw a pilot getting on and thought he was from OH or DL but when I got on(the very last call and seat) the pilot was seating in back and was from Korean Air. Anyone have a answer to why he would be given a seat before me?

Good chance that he was a paying passenger, and his company bought him at ticket.

What are "retable" companies?

On which forum did you see this? And who is promoting it and why?

No spelling genius here, and no offense intended...but it was not even close to any word I know and I was truly curious. Thanks.
