Not sure of the crash pad situation in DTW either. Is it easy to get transportation to the airport from a crash pad (like NYC), or does it suck like CVG (where you pretty much need a car)?

You must be pretty sure of yourself that you will get recalled.

I think we are going to need a car.

Im based in DTW with compass. Almost everysingle crashpad up here is in a hotel. My crashpad for example has 12 people that share a suite with 6 beds in it. We use the hotel van for transportation.

Most don't need a car. There is an apartment complex right next door that has a number of crashpads in it. There is a shuttle, I think $4 each way. The hotels are also cheap and there are a number of hotel crashpads as mentioned earlier.

Sorry for another commute, but welcome to DTW. Operation wise its actually not too bad, other then a large number of the rampers

You need a car, unless you find something on the "smart bus" route. Good luck with "smart bus" lived around here most of my life and never have ridden it.

If you could PM me and give me some insight, that would be great. (said in Bill Lundberg fashion, since I just watched Office Space yesterday and can't get that out of my head now!)
