Well, then you're one of the good ones.... I have had several bad experiences with scheduling. I always try to be nice over the phone, because I understand that you guys are just doing your job, but there are times where I feel like I am being treated unfairly. I'm sure you and I have not had any issues at all, but there are a few that.... well... that's another story.

I don't think you can call it "take away' flying from Mesa, but we are doing a few flights in March that used to be all Freedom. I've seen JFK-BUF, IAD, MCO-BHM.

Here is the new vacancy bid, just like I said...

CVG CR7 CA - 4
JFK CRJ CA - 10
CVG CRJ7 FO - 33

I wasn't expecting 33 spots for 70/90 FO's. Maybe there is something in the works of more flying/more airplanes. That is definitely where the growth will be! Everyone junior to me bid over to the 70/90

Somehow I dont think 14 new Captains will cover the attrition.

As long as they keep vacancy bids coming every month it will. I have been keeping track of attrition for over a year now and for the past year it has been 30 a month almost exactly split down the middle FO and Capt.

Hopefully they will keep up with their new outlook on vacancy bids and publish 1 about every month.

Comair has historically gone bare bones in terms of staffing captains and has always ran overages in FO positions. I would expect this trend to continue.

We are short staffed for FO's on the 70/90 so we need all the help I can get. I'm sure my Leave of absence isn't helping either!

Next bid will not be until Sept or Oct. Comair is losing 2,000 hrs in April and May spread across jfk and cvg on 50 seater with a slight raise in the 70 /90.

what to do what to do...stay cvg...go jfk...bid 70...hmmmm?
