I know at JFK it was $720 per year.
Nope, they are not considering it. I asked. You get parking in your domicile, and your domicile only.

For a while it was being spread that DTW residents who are commuter based could get a DTW parking pass, and CVG residents who are DTW based could get a CVG parking pass. But it turns out thats not what will be happening.

I believe that if you are DTW based and commute from CVG, they will still give you a CVG pass. All you would have to do is tell the parking office you are CVG based, I don't really know if they know the difference... all they look up is if your airline has a CVG domicile... at least that's what they did when I picked up my commuter pass a few months ago for my EWR commute (which is super expensive @ $5/day).

What I meant was that everyone that commutes to DTW should get a parking pass in DTW so that they are paying for everyone's parking pass anyway. That might inspire them to pay for parking passes at other places because some might be cheaper.

Fire sale! Let the rumors begin! Mesaba and compass to Pinncle. Good luck to all, and I mean that with sincerity and NOT in negative overtone.

yea and compass and mesaba were sold CHEAP!!!

20 million for compass!!! i guess delta is probably retaining ownership of the planes at that price.

Im a former comair guy and you all know i wish you no ill will but my vibe says that it may actually be similiar to what trailblazer was saying.

Parted out and sold to skywest inc.

Guys, a quick update.
Strong rumors of some more recalls after the holiday weekend. Again just rumors, but rather strong from what I'm seeing. My personal guess, there will be more.
Anyhow, IMPO as far as the training is concerned, 3 sim rides don't seem to be enough to get you back to par. Maybe a 4th should be scheduled without having to ask for it. The curriculum is packed for those 3 days, very little margin to redo any task more than once. Second day is a doozy. One maneuver is a clean stall (at FL310), recover from it and while so, a lost engine, driftdown procedure, as you're about to recover (at this time around FL210), second engine out. Double engine out procedure is a *****. Finally recovered at 5k, and even being in a sim, pucker factor is a bit high. Btw, that's just one procedure and both pilots have to do it. If you have to redo it, there goes your schedule. It is lengthy. Once you do a few coupled approches during the first day, the rest are hand flown (all of them). It is tiresome, draining, and easy to fall behind. We have our 3rd ride today and so far only have 3 items not completed in first 2 rides (S/E non-prec app, CFIT, and Windshear) and should be able to complete them today (hopefully) along the scheduled tasks. Some other crews are not as "caught up" as we are.
One piece of advice for everyone coming back, get your call outs down pat before showing up along with flows. Hope this helps.

Where can we find the latest flows patterns? I hear they changed with the checklist.

Flows are pretty much the same, seems to me.
