correct... this exists forever.... since APLA will NEVER allow it to go away...

I thought that's what I said...? Maybe I was unclear. I'm not versed in contract law, so I don't make absolute statements. Like I said, I can run this by a lawyer tomorrow when I see him.

As of Jan 1, 2011 There is NO guarantee of how many airframes Comair has to have.

The contract doesn't go away, but what good is a pilot contract if there are no airplanes in the company?

Took me about 2 minutes to figure it out... Sometimes you guys worry me.

The Contract stays in force until we come to an agreement with the company or we are released from mediation and each side can engage in 'self help". At that time the company can implement their last offer and we can go on strike.

Look for the company to announce our future fleet plan (ie: loss of aircraft) well before we start negotiations. That way, they will not have to be concerned with violating "status quo" as Delta reduces our fleet while in negotiations.

Also, Remember the Fleet Guarantee letter of agreement expires shortly after the first of the year.

The rest is for the Comair work but won't be until after the 1st of the year. I guess their contract states that if anything is sold the pilots go with the equipment, however (as I've been told) that contract ends at the end of this year. I'm only the messengers......................."

Skywest is running 4 classes now, 2 for pool hires and 2 for UAL furloughs. So this guy thinks that they'll be hiring 1600 in Jan '11 because they're taking all of Comair's assets. Who writes this stuff?

If that happens, I guess I'll apply at SkyWest so I can start all over again, fly the same airplane I flew here, the same routes all again at 1st year pay. God this industry is so f'd up. Unfortunately there are plenty of guys out there that have wet dreams about this happening.

I like..I like. I want a site up by this afternoon! DS: “Look here, Comair! You've already removed my spleen, tonsils, adenoids, and one of my kidneys. I only came to see if you could get me out of this place!”
Comair: “I am... bit by bit!”
