Funniest part was when I called scheduling and Mansool (or however he spelled his African name) answered and said "No, we out of captains. Tell him he must fly flight"
Now, that there's funny! I don't care who ya are!

CP called me a few days after my last day (as stated on my letter of resignation). He said he knew I turned it in, and would not be back after my scheduled days off, but could not find it. Asked that I send him another copy, which I did. Maybe they just misplaced your letter too?

Thanks!

I got the 767 - what Atlas calls the "light twin"

767 program is still spooling up, but they're supposed to get 20ish 767s in the next 5 years, plus the orders for the 747...

I was on the 700, Manstool called me once and argued with me that I needed to report for a 200 assignment. He in the end said well have fun with your CP, and transferred me. I won.

You will be flying ex-ABX 767s in the DHL system alongside ABX at CVG. Be prepared for a frosty reception in the crew room.

It never ceases does it. Work for a regional and your part of the problem. Leave a regional that's circleing the drain and get kicked in the nuts because you took their jobs again.

I guess ALPA could put out a list of companies and planes we regional pikes are allowed to work for and fly to insure we keep moving the industry forward.

Captainv, congratulations and shame on you at the same time. Next time do the industry a favor and leave it!
