The announcement projected a maximum workforce of 617 pilots, a min of 571 after the completion of the drawdown in September 2012.

The DTW CAs min/max was 114/123.
The DTW FOs min/max was 108/117.
The CVG CAs min/max was 171/185.
The CVG FOs min/max was 178/192.

Editor's note: FOs are leaving in droves. Comair will NEVER be able to recruit new pilots, barring some mass exodus of the top half of the seniority list. Upgrade and PIC time are the coin of the realm in the regional world; what person is going to want to work for an airline with an upgrade time of 15+ years, especially for a company that plays 'musical bases?'

These people who are bottom of the barrel and hopefully the company understands that those new-hires will leave asap when they find a better company to work for.

They'll find someone, there always seems to be someone willing to take a flying job.
