We bid for vacation at the end of this year for 2009. However, If you have time in your vacation bank, you can pick up a week of vacation (if you have at least 20 hours banked and have been here a year or longer) this year buy filling out a Vacation add/trade form (you get them in ops)...and drop it in the bid box (it is by the checkout computers in the trailers).
A list of available weeks of vacation are in your bid packet...you need to turn the form in by the 20th and it is for at least 2 months in the future(right now you can bid for July and later vacations, it is too late to pickup a June vacation). You can find the awards online the afternoon of the 25th each month under bid production. You probably can download the form from there to, but I'm not sure of that

So does anyone else think the JFK bid packet sucks?? There are 373 4 day trips and 174 of them report before 9:00am. The rest that report after 9:00am, 55 of those don't release before 8:00pm. I know the company knows like 90% of that base commutes so why build the trips this way.
Its just frustrating that last month we only had 323 4 day trips and this month there are 373 4 day trips and less of them are commutable. So we gain hours and they cant build the same kind of trips?

Question for you CVG dudes. Are we suppose to go through security when going to the Crew Outfitters Store. I gotta run over there tomorrow, but I ain't putting on the my costume so I can get there. Can we just go through the turnstiles next to security in Terminal 3? It's been a while since I've been over there while not "working".

Did anyone watch the local 10 o'clock news tonight? Don't ask me which channel, I don't remember.
Any-who...they had a story on Comair, similar to what was reported on Epic a few weeks ago 5-6% increase...except they stated "as much as 10%" increase in flying and they said Comair did decide to keep 7 aircraft they were originally slated to get rid of...
Thats all for now, and I think i was watching FOX?...maybe?
