Now it's time to see if Don is true to his word and remember Comair and "load us up" with flying as he said in his farewell remarks.

Haha, looks like a bad day to be flying:

FCA 5 and FCA 8 in effect

Ground stops to:
BWI
DCA
IAD
IAH
JFK
EWR
PHL

I'm surprised I haven't gotten called out yet. Staffing report was listed as average, so I guess they're finally staffed?

Scheduling uses displaced line holders before reserves.

Is that a memory item or limitation?

Yes. Everything is fair game. Weather, Alternates, Ops Specs, Performance, Weight and Balance, Systems, Memory Items, Limitations. Each check airman is different and there is no such thing as a "standard oral". Some are quick and painless, some are long, drawnout and thorough. Just gotta know your stuff.

Yeah. I'm not sure what happened to the rest of my post. It got deleted somehow and I did not notice it. I was trying to say that scheduling uses displaced line holders instead of calling out reserves. That is often why on bad weather days, there are lots of reserves sitting around doing nothing, because there are plenty of displaced line holders to go around.
