The only thing I fear is that the MEC scheduling committee will take up issues with CVG trips(like trying to add more 1,2 and 3 days). What I mean by this is I hope they dont mess with the trip distribution in JFK to much. 90% of the JFK base commutes and I can assure you we do not want 1 and 2 day trips.
I hope they do however win the grievances and are able to have more commutable 4 day trips built in JFK. 170 of the JFK trips in July report before 9am. :-(
Either way giving the company ammo on this survey is a very bad idea.

I broke my personal record on JFK taxi times on Tuesday. 5.5 hours. Yes you read that correct. A five and one half hour taxi before takeoff!!!!!! Prior record was 4 hours. Total credit for the trip from JFK to AUS was 9 hours. One leg and nine hours, now that's productive! With the deadhead to JFK I credited around 11.5 hours for the day. Maybe I should put a request in for more trips like this on the management survey...lol.
I did that last month too. But it was 6:54 total to AUS. Interesting thing though is in the 90 max fuel is about 19,500lbs and we were 18,340 Min/TO. We made a right turn out of LA onto ALPHA and taxied down to the end of 13R. We met the traffic around Q and I called ground and we were #50 for T/O. (we were taking off of the 4'S.) We went all the way down to the beginning of 13R and then back on 13R. When we got abeam LA again I called ground as we only had 300lbs of taxi fuel left. At that point we were #25. Obviously we could not make it so we did a pit stop back at the ramp for a top off and then called ground and told them we either needed to get back in line where we left off or we would cancel the flight as going back into the line again we would be even further back then #50. Ground got us right out as I guess they felt we had paid our dues. We went out as #8 and got right out. In the end we just wasted 800lbs of fuel taxiing.
My personal best though is waiting for 4 hours JUST TO PUSH!!

Supposedly ALPA recognizes the difference between "eMaestro" and "Maestro." Every email they have sent out says bad things about eMaestro (and, like you said, they just keep complaining about it but don't really give any ideas on what to do), but they say nothing about the core system, Maestro.
Yes, eMaestro has lots of problems. It's slow. It can be a pain to log into at times. And all of the features have not been turned on yet, as stuff is being slowly phased in.
But what are ALPA's thoughts on Maestro, the crew tracking program? It obviously has a few problems too: credit/block values all reset to zero (I'm assuming that problem lies in Maestro and not the interface). [oh yeah, I was told that those values have nothing to do with your pay, payroll uses something completely different that we never see/use]

I thought we weren't allowed going over 4 hours? Or special provisions must be made to the pax? I honestly don't know the rule off the top of my head.
I recently sat as number 4 on twy D in ORD to depart for 3:50. Pretty much everyone returned to the gate after about 3:30. All claiming that their companies' rules stated 3-4 hours was the limit due to pax rights.
