I got my days off that I wanted at the beginning of the month, but of course I didn't get Xmas, New Years Eve, etc. off. Reserve windows haven't been published, yet for CVG, I wonder how long it is going to take them this time around. I'm just waiting to see if I can finally hold Long Call or not. Ridiculous! At least you JFK guys can get Xmas off.

I am right in the middle of the stack of reserve pilots at JFK, and I have been for like 3 months, everytime the lines publish I am smack in the middle, I do not move because of everyone below me going to CVG..... I was really excited for Nov, I had 4 trips scheduled, but they took them all away but one... Another month of sitting in my car on staten island, I couldnt even hold A1 my 3rd choice

There HAS to be a reason they are hiring FO's and FA's like crazy... Granted, once they get them they can't really keep them... but they are so fat right now.. makes me wonder if they are cooking up a plan for 2008 or are just running the company into the ground via mismanagement. Probably somewhere in the middle.

I'm a lineholder and don't have Christmas off. They wouldn't let me drop it in the SAW either, claiming "Staffing levels".... Ha! Someone cough or sneeze on me around Dec 23rd.. please?

I'm still trying to figure out how people junior to me got Thanksgiving off. I see some people junior to me not bidding to fly crediting 90+ hrs and flying 70+ hrs./month. SBS is a piece of ****! Oh, and I'm sick of scheduling telling me lies. /end rant.

I certainly hope *if* we get sold, it wont be RAH... but thats out of principle. I'd either rather go it alone, or stay with Daddy D.

I working tonight and i see alot of F/O that over 80 projected credited and i see some who arent an its tagging thats throwing there credit so high Much easier to tag and inbound reserve than it is to call someone from home. There is no contract stipulation to tagging. I dont have to look at ur projected credit value i dont have to look for days match i dont have to check ur drop dead times or bid to fly for that matter

I'll take that back. Not every scheduler is a liar I know it is a though job. I have some experience working as a scheduler and dispatcher for a 121 carrier. Just the other day I had a scheduler tell me my trip the next day got taken away because of a displaced line holder. That's fine with me, especially since I just got done with a 5 day trip. But later I saw that the trip was given to a guy junior to me.
