Comair updates?

<legal disclaimer> Pure speculation: I was under the impression that sitting in the jumpseat (any carrier) required you to be a 121 certified pilot. Some would argue that occurs when you get your type rating/complete checkride. Except you are not signed off to fly on the line. You must complete OE with a LCA. So, I guess it depends on how you read the reg.

Well before you go on IOE you'll do a couple of 'observation flights' which are positive space in the jumpseat. It's after your checkride but before IOE, maybe that helps? I know it's not quite the same as just jumpseating for the sake of it because it's still part of training, but it's still jumpseating nonetheless.

Haha I love how everytime that pops up on something whether it be in the aircraft, uniforms, ground equipment etc. it stirs the rumor mills. Interesting stuff though.

Everyone who got a line in December, congrats! Enjoy it, it probably wont last. I got Long Call 1 for December with 6 ready reserves and a stupid 2 day trip that ends Xmas Eve. I plan on flying as little as possible during December
I saw some clothes that said Comair/Delta Connection/Northwest Airlink/Virgin America Express or was it Virgin Slut Express? I can't remember?!
