This statement is true. But have you ever ACTUALLY seen the last XJT contract yourself? Have you compared that to CHQ's previous contract?

This statement is not true. ACA had the best (pre-911) and a better post 9/11 than CHQ/RAH. COMAIR (pre-9/11) got a better deal and kept till recently. AWAC got a better one (post 9/11) and had to give, but if/when they get it all back it will be better than RAH. Albeit, COMAIR and AWAC had to give SINCE then, but saying that RAH's was the "best" since 911 is simply no true. CHQ's contract was good for them considering the climate it was negotiated in and what they were up against. But it was still lacking compared to the ones listed above. You can argue with me all you want. You simply were not there to witness it all first hand. I worked under one of the above listed, as well as followed what went on at the the other three very closely. Even after taking a concession, there are things that were still better than XJET's current CBA, as well as RAH's CBA.

It's the nature of things. One set of years regional A is better and the next set of years regional B is better. They feed off one another to make each other stronger. Now come down off the cross XJT didn't do anything special with the contract they did what was predicted and expected. How much you wanna bet RAH gets rigs after ASA got them? It's what's to be expected. Natural progression.

If you must know, they went:

Those planes were from Greece, they flew the "Blue Spruce route".

Greece to Pisa-Italy, Scotland, Iceland, Greenland, Goose Bay Canada and then they cleared customs in Bangor, Maine.

3 1/2 hours tops over the ocean segments in an ERJ MP.

I've been waiting for that reply from earlier on in the thread. Its scarry that pilots, especially professional ones are having to try and figure out just how short range aircraft get across an ocean. I think some of the post should have stayed as inside thoughts.

But then again some appear not to have the real experience or understanding of the business that they think they have.

I am surprised they had to make that many stops. I would have thought they could cut one or two out.

Whats your point with how bad our contract used to be? I would rather be more concerned with what it is now.............

Maybe you should re-read your signature line at the bottom of every one of your posts
