Yes it is what I expected but I had hope for more. They are basically ASA rates.

 

Would any Skywest pilot mind taking a few minutes out of their life and please post the proposed pay scales?

I'll take flak but this is a discussion board. Here are the rates that were emailed to us.

 

Even if we vote it down, Mgmt will still go ahead and raise first-year pay. They need the new-hires...

They are almost identical. The only exception is first year pay is $22 at Skywest and $23 at ASA. Pay on the 700/900 is $1 an hour less at Skywest for years 10-18. Also, 2nd year FO is $1 an hour less at Skywest on the CRJ-700/900. Also, the 1% COLA is VERY weak. What is ASA getting in 2009 and 2010?

I would sent it back. Ask for $23 (or more) first year pay, and higher than ASA rates of the CRJ-700 since Skywest also flies the 900. COLA of 3%. I would worry less about the max captain rates because only 20 year lifers get that rate, while almost everyone goes through years 1-5. Worry about those years.

When can Skywest vote in ALPA?
I still will not bash Skywest for voting against ALPA (since they are still a good operation), but it may come out being your best choice in the long run.

our contract will be 8 years old in 2 months. in 2010 your 50 seat rj captains will average only $4.00 more per a hour than our captains that are using a 8 year old contract... that is crazy! by then our contract would be 10 years old!!! 4 dollars for 10 years??? wow... and pinnacle is supposedly a bottom feeder..

and by looking at the payscales i would venture to guess that the guys in sapa that put this out have been there 20 years and decided to give themselves a nice little 7 percent rais while almost everyone else gets 2 percent.
