Seriously, where did this come from?

An arbitrator decided the rates. The pilots had no vote in this.

And... the Pinnacle pilots did have "the stones" to vote and approve a strike. What else can be done?

Really, by now we understand that no one can live up to the high standards set by you and AWAC.

Those rates were decided by an arbitrator. Obviously Pinnacle will never be able to attain contract nirvana as AWAC has but in the three plus years of negotiating (or failure to settle), they have proven that they are dedicated to the cause. Step away from the koolaid.

Do some research and then come back and make a half way educated post.

We are in contract negotiations, have refused to sign a sub par contract and have authorized a strike by over a 99% majority. If that isn't growing some "stones" as you put it, then I don't know what is...

The 900 rates are arbitrated and we had no say in the matter (other than rejecting the company proposal). These rates are temporary and subject to change in the new contract.

Remember, the best regional today could be the worst tomorrow. We have clearly demonstrated that we will not sign anything less than a fair contract. The majority of us have our walking shoes on and are just waiting for the word. When/if we get a new contract, many of the people who make uneducated and presumptuous posts about the Pinnacle pilot group are going to be eating their own words...

hahahahahahaha

company propeganda. considering these rates are WAY higher than what the company wanted this makes it even more funny.

The arbitrator has reached a decision, and we are very pleased to see that he agrees with our philosophy of industry average compensation, a philosophy that we have consistently applied to all of our work groups. The arbitrator’s decision does make allowance for retroactive pay to our Pilots for CRJ-900 flying, and we will begin that process immediately.

This decision, coupled with our return to industry leading performance, allows us to remain competitive and pursue growth through additional CRJ-900 flying. We appreciate the hard work that you do and thank you for your support.

we actually have quiet a few. i could name right now at least 20 guys that have been here 15 years or more. its weird but there are a lot of guys who have been here a really long time, then their is a break, and then the rest of the seniority list starts again.

To: All Flight Crew Members
From: Clive Seal, VP & GM
Subject: CRJ 900 Pay Rates
Date: January 30, 2008

As you know, in December, 2007, we began operations utilizing the CRJ - 900 aircraft for Delta Airlines. Since our pilot agreement does not contain pay rates for this aircraft, we have been utilizing our CRJ-200 rates until any new rates are established. The defined process for establishing rates for flying a new aircraft is contained within the agreement and includes presenting the positions of both the Association and the Company to a neutral arbitrator to review and determine what the rates for a new aircraft should be based on relevant factors in the industry. The arbitrator may rule in favor of either party or, most likely in this case, make his own decision somewhere in between. However, this process can take some time. We will respect the decision of the arbitrator and implement the rates he determines as soon as possible.

In the mean time, we are going to implement the attached CRJ-900 pay rates that we proposed in the arbitration, retroactive to your qualification date. We would have liked to implement these rates sooner but did not do so due to a misunderstanding as to whether we could before the arbitrator's ruling. That misunderstanding was recently resolved.

Consistent with that offered by most other regional airlines, we proposed that the first officer rates be the same for all turbojet aircraft. The captain rates we proposed are approximately 5% to 6% higher that the current 200 rates. When the arbitrator's award is issued, any additional adjustments that may be necessary will be made.

If you have any questions, please fell free to contact your Base Manager.

Proposed Turbojet 60 - 76seats, 1- 50 aircraft

First Officers
All Turbojet Aircraft
Same as 50 - 50 seat turbojet aircraft

Captain
