Here are the Pinnacle 900 rates

Jet U is a 5 month CRJ program that charges low (or no) timers $26K to learn pinnacle's profiles and flows and do stuff in a CRJ FTD that flies hardly anything like the full motion sim. It also embodies it's students with a mentality that they somehow are better than flight instructors and night freight guys because they know the profiles the first day of class. Many of them drive expensive cars and prefer microsoft flight sim to sex and alcohol.

I am waiting to hear the stories that will come when CA's start removing the FD's from these guys for TO. I love the freedom!
I really don't hate the guys that did Jet-U and equivalent. Frankly if I was in their position it would be tempting. I instructed and used my commercial to fly odd-jobs and got my time and personally feel it made me a better pilot (although mooney will prob say otherwise...lol
). The problem I have is the mentality that some of the guys walk around with... "I should have already upgraded- 2K hours is ridiculous, the FAA only requires 1500." I learn something EVERY flight and as I get more experience it seems I only learn more and more. Sure, I feel I could have upgraded at 1500TT, but actually going at 2500TT will not bother me in the least.
Overall most guys are cool and you can't tell a "Jet U" guy from an instructor until you start asking the "what were you doing before this" questions, but there are a handful that seem to think that going to Jet U is like having a shuttle landing on the resume.
