I want to know what SAAB "knows"...in his eyes it sounds like BIG things are going down. Lets guess.

Mine-

1 XJT underbids SKW and wins the CAL flying (or was it always "theirs")
2 SKW buys XJT but Jerry transfers all the skw flying to the XJT side
3 SKW pilots are about to vote in ALPA thus allowing a one seniority list airline
4 XJT buys SKW

I know, I respect your opinion, and I think you have a much better grasp of whats going on then most, its the TonyWilliams types that drive me crazy

When its all said and done SkyWest & their management are not the ones to blame for this whole disaster.

Just curious but XJT took the 69 planes before going branded. Didn't they do this as a plan to fly them for AMR before being denied by AMR's scope, only XX amount of RJs allowed to fly for them, and then were left sitting with 69 planes? Just something I heard and wanted confirmation on.

Secondly I've only heard here that XJT managed to underbid CHQ for the bids. I've heard strait from Bedford that when CHQ bid for CAL flying we weren't the cheapest. There were two regionals that underbid. One was PNCL and the other wasn't XJT. Also there are multiple contracts in place. It's possible they have different rates.

Never heard that one before. If I recall correctly, the AMR deal was put to bed quite a while before this. But, then again, I'm probably wrong- so someone please correct me.

Worth watching - they discuss XJT and Skywest among others.

I'm sure you're right. I was told this by an FO who worked there and is now here. I don't know why he's here so there's no telling how credible he is.

There's some news we can agree !!! Welcome out of the hazy clouds on the descent to reality. Yes, SkW didn't cause XJT's issues. Heck, XJT isn't doing harm to SkW by underbidding Delta flying in SLC. It's business.

My platitudes have run out for those who routinely denigrate our workforce for the union membership, or any other reason.

That includes you, and a few of your fellow colleagues.

By the way, I posted my phone number and email on another thread, offering whatever I can to aid the MEC at XJT. I can tell that I got as many calls as I expected. None.

I saw that and my thought was that you have some huge juevos. Noticed it was a SD number you still commute from there?

You sir are the quintessential regional lifer. At least you seem happy at SKW. Some people deserve each other.
